Over 200 women entrepreneurs in Lilongwe have gained agro-processing, packaging, and business skills through Alepaca Investment Limited's Value Addition programme, significantly increasing their incomes.
Over 200 women entrepreneurs across Lilongwe have benefited from Alepaca Investment Limited's Value Addition and Agro-Processing Initiative, gaining skills in product processing, packaging, branding, and market linkage.
The programme supports women to transform raw agricultural products into higher-value goods, increasing household incomes and creating sustainable livelihoods. Participants have been trained in quality control, business management, and accessing both local and export markets.
"This programme has changed my life. I now process and package my own products and sell them at a much higher price. My income has tripled," said one programme participant from Lilongwe.
